Dcoop training and ongoing projects
In addition to reinforcing its strategy with the renewal of the Sustainably Grown certification, this agri-food group is organising new courses and information actions in cooperatives on quality, food safety and good practices in oil cooperatives.
At the beginning of October, the 'Training Wednesdays' initiative was launched, a one-hour online training programme through the Zoom platform, aimed at different professional profiles within cooperatives: on the 8th, a training session was held to delve into the REMOA platform, with a practical case, the most common mistakes and how to avoid them. aimed at administration and logistics personnel; while the one on October 15, also aimed at administration and logistics personnel, focused on the Booking platform for cargo operations.
Other training sessions are planned in the near future. One of them is aimed at management and administration and quality personnel, stopping in a practical session for the analysis of analytical data of production. For its part, another will seek to improve food quality and safety, which is aimed at administration, quality and winery personnel and will focus on requirements and inspections of agriculture and health, loading and dispatch operations of tankers, and good practices for the conservation and storage of olive oil.
With a view to improving the quality of oil for the 2025-26 campaign, Dcoop articulates its strategy around four main lines of action. The Clarity project aims to provide technicians and cooperatives with access to visual, accurate and up-to-date information on their analytical data that favours operational and effective decision-making throughout the campaign. The Impulso project, which seeks to increase the quality of olive oil through training, personalized technical assistance and improvement of the settlement system for farmers. Thirdly, the Cata Verde project aims to promote excellence in the internal tastings of cooperatives and optimize the support system in the campaign to achieve better results. And finally, the Almazara project, which aims to promote the use of Dcoop's Suministros services to guarantee maximum cleanliness and quality in cooperatives.
