Safe Quality Food (SQF) is a globally recognized food safety and quality certification program designed to ensure that food products are produced, processed, and handled according to the industry highest standards. It is benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.

SQF Edition 10 will introduce the newest audit approach for assessing the food industry sectors with customized requirements in separate, stand-alone Codes: Food Manufacturing, Primary Plant Production, Aquaculture, Animal Feed, Pet Food, Animal Product Manufacturing, Dietary Supplement, Food Packaging, Storage & Distribution and the Quality Code!
