Maggie Schwartz is Managing Director of SCS’ Forestry Programs - Forest Management, Forest Products' Chain of Custody, and Greenhouse Gas Verification. She is responsible for the fiscal and operational health of the company’s largest program area, managing more than 4,500 forestry-related certificates in over twenty countries worldwide. She is additionally a member of the SCS Executive team representing the interests of the Natural Resources Division and its Directors, including operational leadership, international development, client relations, key accounts, staff retainment, and strategic planning.
Prior to joining SCS, Maggie held leadership positions with global companies focused on social sustainability, diversity, social equity and high-performance communication, working closely with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 executives and their teams. In these capacities, Maggie developed an exceptional set of skills related business operations, leadership development, systems implementation, and executive communication, all of which inform her work at SCS.- B.A. Sociology (Tulane University)
